Prosperity Yee Sang - Panasonic Cooking

Method:

  1. Blend mango, lime juice, lime zest and a pinch of salt in Panasonic Food Processor MK-F800SSL.
  2. Grate sweet potato using the fine shredding blade and bake in Panasonic Pure Steam Double Heater Microwave Oven NN-DS596BMPQ at 150°C for 18 mins.
  3. Arrange purple cabbage, young papaya, strawberries, pomelo, marinated jellyfish, marinated seaweed, radish and carrot on the platter.
  4. Place 10 rolled up salmon sashimi rosettes in the center.
  5. Arrange baked sweet potato and peanuts around the salmon. Garnish with a handful of coriander leaves.
  6. Sprinkle pepper and five spice powder. Pour in oil, plum sauce and mango dressing.
  7. Toss and serve.

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 slices Salmon sashimi 
  • ½ orange sweet potato, shredded
  • 1 radish, shredded
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • ¼ young papaya, shredded
  • ¼ purple cabbage, shredded
  • 8 pcs strawberries, sliced 
  • 100g marinated seaweed
  • 100g marinated jellyfish
  • 2 pomelo wedges, peeled
  • ¾ cup peanuts, toasted 
  • ¼ cup white sesame seeds, toasted
  • ½ cup plum sauce 
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp white pepper 
  • ¼ tsp five spice powder
  • Handful coriander leaves

Sauce 

  • 1 pc ripen mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 lime zest
  • 3 limes, juiced 
  • Pinch of salt
