Preparations:

  1. Preheat oven to 160oC. Roast the walnuts and sunflower seeds for 7 – 8 minutes. Set aside to cool. Chop the walnuts into small pieces.
  2. Place all the ingredients, except for walnuts, sunflower seeds and yeast, into the bread pan.
  3. Put the bread pan into the main body and instant dry yeast in the yeast dispenser.
  4. Press Menu to select “5” (Whole wheat bread).
  5. Select Raisin: Yes.
  6. Select Crust: Medium.
  7. Press Start.
  8. When the beeps sound for adding fruit and other ingredients, open the lid and add the raisins. Close the lid and let the unit restart the bread making cycle.
  9. When the bread is done, remove the bread pan from the machine and wait for 2 minutes, then remove the bread from the bread pan and cool it on a wire rack the bread from the bread pan and cool it on a wire rack.
